Lecture: Servitium Pro Patria! The Military History of Indiana University

The military history of Indiana University starts with the Revolutionary War and continues with our students and staff currently deployed overseas. The military and veterans have played crucial roles in the development of IU since the day it was founded. IU's contributions to the military are no less impressive. We will look at both the military's impact on IU and IU's impact on the US military.

This the monthly meeting of the Monroe County History Club. These programs are free and open to the public with ample free parking. The speaker begins at 12:30 pm but lunch is available through the American Legion beforehand.

Location:

American Legion Post 18, 1800 W. 3rd St., Bloomington, IN 47404
