Information for Bicentennial Ceremony Delegates and Faculty

Thank you so much for participating as a delegate or faculty member in the Bicentennial Ceremony. You may find the following information helpful as you prepare for the event.

The ceremony is Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the IU Auditorium, which is located on 1211 East 7th Street, Bloomington, IN 47405. Delegates and faculty will gather at the IU School of Public Health Intramural Center (formerly known as HPER) which is located at 1025 East 7th Street.

Please plan to arrive no later than 9:00AM. Delegates and faculty will proceed as a group down 7th Street and enter the IU Auditorium to take their reserved seats.

The robing area will be located at the IU School of Public Health Intramural Center and will be secure. You may leave your personal items there. There will be light refreshments available both before and after the ceremony. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the group will return to the robing area in the Intramural Center. The robes can be returned at that time.

The ceremony will last approximately 90 minutes.

Delegates and faculty will receive complimentary parking passes for the Indiana Memorial Union pay lots which are located across the street from the Intramural Center. You will receive your parking pass after the ceremony.
