A capella group Straight No Chaser to return to Bloomington

The a capella group and IU classic Straight No Chaser will return to campus at 8 p.m. Dec. 13 in the IU Auditorium as part of its "The Open Bar" tour.

The group will be performing a mix of pop hits as well as holiday classics for its December show.

Tickets start at $33 for students and $53 for adults.

Before the show, a donation drive for the Hannah Center of Bloomington, an organization that helps women and families with pregnancy and early parenting needs, will take place. Acceptable items for donation include diapers and diaper bags, baby clothes, food, toiletries and cribs. A full list of items can be found at www.hannahcenter.org.

Straight No Chaser was founded in 1996 at IU and has since released seven albums and four EPs internationally. Most recently, the group was commissioned by IU’s Bicentennial celebration to compose the official Bicentennial song.
