Renowned comedian and activist, Margaret Cho, delivered the keynote address at IUPUI’s 10th Annual Harvey Milk Dinner. The dinner was a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community that explored its history and looked toward the future. Cho did a stand-up comedy routine that provided insight into her own experiences as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. After the routine, she spoke highly of the efforts that young LGBTQ+ people are engaging in to live their authentic lives and make the world a more accepting and welcome place for LGBTQ+ people. In addition to her talk, Cho met with a group of students after the event.
