Description of Funded Activity

Through a series of colloquia and webinars, the Center for Rural Engagement celebrated IU’s history of community engagement, explored ways to further develop meaningful and vibrant rural partnerships, and inspire IU staff, faculty and students to extend the reach of their research to Indiana’s rural communities.

Held during the Spring 2019 semester, these events facilitated dialogue, awareness, shared approaches, and best approaches to comprehensive rural community strength and well-being.
