Renowned artist Misch Kohn was a Kokomo, IN native and was a student at the Herron School of Art. To honor Kohn, the IU Kokomo Art Gallery hosted an exhibit, entitled “Misch Kohn: Beyond the Tradition” on November 10, 2016 through December 10, 2016.

The IU Kokomo Art Gallery also purchased one of Kohn’s works, Medea, 1950, wood engraving. Since this event, Kohn’s daughter has donated two additional prints to the museum.
