Anderson Cooper is the anchor of CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360, a global newscast that goes beyond the headlines with in-depth reporting and investigations. He also serves as a regular correspondent for CBS’s 60 Minutes. Since the start of his career in 1992, Cooper has worked in more than 40 countries, reporting on major news from the scene. Cooper has received 8 Emmy Awards and an Edward R. Murrow Award.
Cooper spoke to a large audience at the IU Musical Arts Center. During his speech, he focused on politics and justice. Following his talk, he participated in a moderated question and answer session with students. In addition to the public talk, Cooper attended a student only dinner at IU Hillel.
